Jada and Will Smith at Essence Awards

After the sad news of Pinks break up, I had to highlight on another one of my favorite couples.

Jada Pinkett & Will Smith and Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got together at the First Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday.

Jada was one of three honorees at the luncheon. In the category of film, Jada, 36, was celebrated for being one of Hollywood’s most versatile and gifted actress / director / producer / screenwriters.

Both Will and Jada started to cry (gotta love a celeb marriage that’s working) on stage during Jada’s acceptance speech. Will also had a few words to share about his lovely wife.

Paris Hilton’s onstage Striptease?

Ok, so I simply couldn’t resist posting the latest Hilton news. So here is your daily dose of gossip. As Paris Hilton celebrated her 27^th birthday at PURE Nightclub at Ceasars Palace Hotel, I was stunned at how low-key the outfit was (hated the princess look by the way) and then came the after party. Thanks to TMZ, I was able to see for myself how Paris performed with the Pussycat Dolls burlesque troupe in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Paris also graced the gaping crowd with a performance in a giant champagne glass while wearing a white sparkly bodice and feather boa. And just when you thought that she was done, she proceeds to grace us with a full on black getup from her bag of tricks.

Rumor has it that she was seen making out with newly divorced Travis Barker (again?). Its a good thing that Travis is actually divorced this time cause his estranged wife Shanna Moakler got mighty pissed at Paris the last time she was caught stealing her hubby. Oh, boy! Its like watching a train wreck people… you simply can’t help but watch in shock and amazement. What will she do next?

Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri went cruizen’ in Manhattan this past weekend as Tom got ready for a busy day scheduling promotions for his new film Lions For Lambs, while Katie plugged her movie Mad Money.

But for me, none of that matters as much as Katie awesome outfit. I’m loving the leggings and the super-cute stripped sweater dress. You betta work Katie!

Who’s the lady who’s “hell on wheels?” It’s R&B rocker Pink (aka Alecia Moore), riding her Triumph motorcycle around Sherman Oaks. The BeautyFly singer, is rumored to be working on her fifth album, is not all about leather and horsepower; she made a stop at a skin care salon, the appropriately named Pink Cheeks. Pink, whose need for speed may have been rubbed off on her by her motocross champ hubby Carey Hart, was spotted without her wedding ring. Could their two-year marriage already be on the rocks, or was she still covered in hand cream?

Gary Coleman Gets Hitched

Half his age and twice his height, “Different Strokes” child star Gary Coleman, 40, marries Shannon Price, 22, in Nevada. Price said it was she who proposed to Coleman, but that he surprised her on her birthday by whisking her to a mountaintop in the Valley of Fire State Park to exchange vows.

Now get this, Gary has maintained his virginity all these years….. “What You Talkin’ Bout?”

Why Britney… WHY… Married Again?

This is simply gossip (for now at least) BUT: IN news that will dismay her family, Britney Spears has secretly married her British paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib in Mexico, according to American reports.

The troubled star wed photographer Ghalib during a trip to Mexico on 9 January, Star magazine claims, but the marriage is illegal because Ghalib is already married.

If true, the wedding was just days after Britney was first rushed to hospital, following an alarming stand-off with police at her home.

When she realized that the wedding wasn’t legal because of his prior attachment , Spears first dumped Adnan because she was so furious - but later gave him $A273,000 to speed up his divorce so they could wed for real, according to Star.

The alleged wedding took place when Spears, 26, and Ghalib, 35, managed to sneak away from the media pack that follows their every move and drove to Rosarito Beach Hotel in Mexico.

Lets ALL pray for Ms. Spears and her family shall we?

Barron Hilton Wobbles into Trouble

Following in big sis Paris‘ wobbly footsteps, Barron Hilton, 18, was arrested in Malibu and charged for driving under the influence.

Barron was driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in a black Mercedes when he was pulled over. According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, Hilton’s charge is a misdemeanor, and bail has been set at $5,000… Is that it????

I wonder what it’s like to have EVERYTHING and still not be satisfied. Do you think that have to too easy, or are they simply rich kids having fun?

Playdate Anyone?

Look who caught up at the Opening Celebration of the Broad Contemporary Art Museum but none other than the two hottest, BeautyFly post-pregger celebs Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie. And suddenly they have a lot in common. Both young, mommies, most talked about, and off the market (for now at least).

Angelina Jolie on Iraq…Pregnant Again?

A very pregnant Angelina Jolie, the goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, arrived in Iraq’s capital, Baghdad.

In an interview with CNN early this morning, Angelina said regarding her trip, “I felt I had to come here because it is very difficult to get answers about the internally displaced people…”

Angelina was all talk when it came to discussing Baghdad, but when the interviewer asked her about the pregnancy reports in Hollywood, Jolie quickly interrupted her question with, “Oh, don’t. Stop it. Stay true to your tradition. You’re CNN. Don’t do it!”

When the reporter mentioned she just had to ask, Jolie responded with “But I don’t have to answer. OK?” See it for yourself…

Britney Spears is FINALLY set free!

Well, Britney Spears AKA “Brit Brit” is finally out of the joint after a psychiatric evaluation of course. She left the ward six days after being admitted following an apparent breakdown, in a black Mercedes Benz from the UCLA Medical Centre. After leaving her house, she checked into the Beverly Hills Hotel.
